2001 Suzuki SX
Suzuki SX (for Sports Crossover, unveiled at the 2001 New York Auto Show) aims at young weekend warriors looking for an adventure vehicle but who are not interested in traditional SUVs.
Equipped with a roaring 220HP engine, the four-wheel drive speedster is built for sport driving as well as offroad adventures. Its low-profile and its agressive design give the SX a rally car look. However, the interior is surprisingly aimed at comfort with leather-trimmed seats and an audio-video console placed at the center of the dashboard.
Designers gave the SX a dynamic design to emphasize its difference with bulky suburb-style SUVs while maintaining several useful features such as cargo space and four-wheel traction.
This concept car should be on production in 2001 and hit the Suzuki showrooms during 2002.
